Harley Davidson Interns Get Free Motorcycle Each

Yes, you read that right. Eight lucky interns under the #FindYourFreedom internship will get to keep their given motorcycle at the end of the 12-week program.

To celebrate their 115th anniversary of the founding of Harley Davidson, the Milwaukee-based company is turning the summer internship into the experience of a lifetime. The #FindYourFreedom internship is intended as a hands-on experience in integrated marketing communications.

Under the marketing and social media team, the eight chosen interns will be responsible for covering company events around the country and will also have to represent the company as a brand enthusiast. Some will even be given the opportunity to participate in the company’s 115th anniversary celebrations in Milwaukee and Prague.

On top of that, the interns will also be given riding lessons via the Harley Davidson Riding Academy and upon completion will receive the keys to their very own Harley Davidson motorcycle so that they can continue exploring motorcycle culture and enjoy the freedom of riding on the open road.

“We’re continuously working to grow the sport of motorcycling,” said Matt Levatich, the CEO of Harley Davidson. “What better way to engage future riders than to have a whole team of newly trained enthusiasts share personal stories as they immerse themselves in motorcycle culture and community – all while gaining marketable career skills.”

Potential candidates of this amazing internship will have to be adventurous and be “socially savvy storytellers.” To apply, candidates have to submit an application detailing what they think ‘Freedom’ means to them. They can do so by creating a video, writing an essay, developing a photo collage or just about any other way that they think will be able to make their application stand out from the undoubtedly countless number of other applications the company has to sieve through.
