Channing Tatum Presents His New YZ450F To The Public

Posted On : 23-02-2018

For the past few years, we have seen the influence of motocross racing reach people far and wide, including Hollywood actors, most of all. We already know about Keanu Reeves’ passion for motorcycle turned passion project – Arch Motorcycles. Even Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds have been continuously outspoken about his love for bikes and riding. But last year, another A-lister is added to the list.

Channing Tatum with buddy Jolene Van Vugt, action sports athlete and TV personality. Van Vugt helped (or made) Ttaum “take things to a different level” as that hung out doing “Thursday stuff”.

He may already have been in love with automobiles and bikes way before that NASCAR-centric movie, but it sure helped him bring into light his affinity for motorcycles. Channing Tatum starred in Logan Lucky, of which the press junkets gave him opportunities to talk cars and bikes on-screen.

Tatum told Top Gear, “I’m really into bikes. Dirt bikes more than street bikes – I don’t really ride on the street all that much. I’ll do lots of trail riding, but I just recently got into GP-style motorcycles. This last year I bought a Yamaha R1 and started racing my buddies on the track.

“Once a month we’ll go to some trackday and just, you know, try not to hurt ourselves! I’ve run Laguna Seca two or three times. The Corkscrew is insane! The g-force on that thing when you drop down is pretty significant, especially hanging off the bike - I mean if you’re doing some speed, you hit the bottom of that thing and you’re like “argh!” It’s pretty nuts.”

Just this morning, he posted on Instagram a recent buy he made. Propped up like the beauty she is in Team Yamaha Blue, the YZ450F’s new owner glows with pride as he tells the Internet how stoked he is of his recent acquisition. He wrote, “I got my girl!!! And she is sooo bananas!! So much love went into making it. Deep gratitude and thanks to @yamahamotorusa @arinb @sdcstunts #yz450f”
