All New And Updated 2021 BMW R1250R. Here Is What We Know So Far About The Claimed Most Versatile Motorcycle.

The prestigious name of BMW is a synonym for quality when it comes to the automotive industry. BMW has always come up with all the innovations that make you want to buy it. The sophisticated designs have always attracted the serious crowd who knows the worth of their purchasing vehicle.

BMW has now announced the new updated version of its classic BMW R1250R. The all-new updated boxer engine makes you want to own it at first glance. BMW claims the bike has a fresh look and such a dynamic power you have never enjoyed before.
Let's look at the specs of the bike. With Air/liquid-cooled 4-stroke flat twin Boxer engine the bike generates 136.0 HP @ 7750 RPM and torque of 143.0 Nm @ 6250 RPM.

The bike is fitted with Double discs, 320 mm 4-piston radial callipers front brake and 276 mm Single disc. ABS, dual-piston floating calliper rear brakes.

BMW R1250R offers two riding modes (Road and Rain); The motorcycle has a top speed of over 125 mph (201km/h) and a wet weight of 239 kg. The seat height is 820 mm to give maximum comfort to the rider.

The bike also has a decent fuel capacity of almost 16 litres.
Technically it has gotten very few changes and almost offer the same specs as before. However, when it comes to the looks and options, it's all new and updated.

To start with, the updated version gets a new paint finish, Mineral Grey metallic. The Option 719 milled parts package Shadow includes the anodizing of engine housing cover front & cylinder head covers in silver or black. For Shadow II, mirrors, hand levers, shift lever, rider footrests, and expansion tank cover are all anodized in silver or black, your choice of colour!

For the new image and branding, the style HP got renamed as Style Sport. Now with these updates, the 2021 BMW R1250R complies with EURO 5.

A significant change, however, is the loss of ability to take off ABS. It's now turned on all the time. The diving modes' pro options include new engine drag torque control and core screen sport in the updated version.

The latest version has M Lightweight battery rather than the old HP battery.
The look is now more attractive with the full-LED headlight with added daytime riding light. Another notable feature is the Dynamic ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) system; The system design regulates the adjustment of the telescopic fork and spring struts depending on the rider load and riding conditions.

It offers maximum grip and comfort depending upon the riding trajectory. You are safe with the 2021 BMW R 1250R, even if you are enjoying riding on a dangerous mountain road.

Lastly, with other options, BMW also offers an optional accessory, BMW Motorrad Connectivity. The innovative solution for everyday navigation by connecting your smartphone with the bike and helmet via Bluetooth.
Although BMW has announced the base model's price of USD$14,995 MRSP (manufacturer's suggested retail price) with added options, you can spend as much as you like because the sky is the limit.
