According to the press release, Andreas will be overseeing all domestic and international sales activities for the brand, as well as manage the growing sales team and distributor around the globe.

He is more than qualified for the role too - having previously held management positions at KTM, Husaberg and most recently Motonation, he brings with him “a wealth of experience and business acumen to the company and will help to continue developing 6D’s dealer and distributor network.”

“As a lifelong two-wheel enthusiast, I’ve admired 6D’s innovative and groundbreaking approach to helmet safety from the beginning and I am honored to be part of the team. The brand-new ATR-2 is raising the bar again and I am looking forward to contributing to 6D’s worldwide success,” said Andreas Hengstberger.

Bob Weber, Co-Founder and CEO added: “Andreas is a perfect fit for our growing company and we look forward to his contributions to our efforts in the global marketplace. There are many exciting opportunities for our brand and our protective ODS technology, and we are working hard to address them as we grow.”

On the other hand, Daniel will be joining 6D Helmets’ technical development team to create new and improved products. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering, deep roots in bicycle racing and experience in designing hydration systems with CamelBak, Daniel will “participate in new product design, support of existing products and manufacturing process activities for the brand.”

Speaking to Daniel, he said that he is very proud to become part of 6D’s engineering team. “It is exciting to be part of a company that is producing a truly innovative and superior product that offers the highest level of protection to riders like myself. I am excited about future R&D efforts and my future with 6D,” he elaborated.

Robert Reisinger, Co-Founder and Director of R&D & Engineering, added: “We are excited to have Daniel as part of our growing engineering team and look forward to the contributions he will bring to the company as we grow.”

Established in 2011, 6D Helmets has been the safety technology leader in both motorcycle and bicycle helmet design, especially after patented Omni-Directional Suspension technology. With the addition of two experienced members to their team, there is more than enough reason to look forward to highly innovative products released from the American company.
